Long time no update.
Here I am updating my journal after a long time and starting with my standard subject line that I use whenever I start updating my journal "again." Not that there has been much going on at my end but the only thing that has changed since I last posted is my job. The new job is like cooler than every cool job under the sun put together. What do I have to do? NOTHING. Yes, you read it right. I get paid for just doing the following things:
1. Arrive in the office at 6:30 p.m., of course in the office cab.
2. Start loitering around, in let's say, the cafetaria.
3. Down a coffee, Lipton or Georgia, from the vending machine in a paper cup.
4. Go to the terrace to see the setting sun.
5. Start abusing this internet connection updating my journal like this.
6. After this, abuse the telephone connection talking to your friends.
7. Ok, time for dinner. Go to the cafetaria again and eat whatever the company wants us served in the meal.
8. Go everywhere except the production floor, where it is a crime not to look busy.
9. Go to the cafetaria again at 3:30 a.m. for the breakfast.
10. Go down to the basement where the office cab is again waiting for you to take me home.
... not necessarily in the same order.
The thing is like, the process for which I was recruited hasn't arrived yet and for the past week, life has been like this only. Not that I am quite looking forward for the process to come. I am enjoying my life.
