Rider Doodle: You can run, but you can't hide.

(Crazy three point perspectivey.)

A scene suggested by hpstrangelove from annephoenix's story You Can Run, But You Can't Hide. (Following Never Say Never.)

"Not just Scorpia are tracking you," he said tersely. "We haven't much time." And then Yassen lifted Alex into his arms, picking him up as easily as if he were a feather ( Read more... )

*Mad Flail!*

That's exactly what it looks like in my mind! I think I love you <3!! omg the detail ... sob, yay!

(and isn't it cool that the fics acronym is 'Ur Bitch' ... subliminal Alex abuse for all the kiddie readers on ffnet!)

I'm so glad, haha. I was going to try and be all crazy and epic, and then i thought about it, and it was more of a subtly epic scene really......(and all the homework wanted was the unusual 3 point style).

(o.O Whoa! It is! Fffffffwahahahahaaaa. Oh i do love it when authors taunt ff.n, i really do.)

Subtly epic = teeheee! I am still so impressed by how you capture movement of an entire scene. A lot of artists are good at people and at positions, but so often it doesn't provide the full context. You definitely have the eye!

Plenty of taunting in this fic, esp the australian's not-so-veiled lust for Alex. I can't do gen. I try, but all my characters want to get down and dirty. Well Alex not so much haha ... on ffnet I got one review asking me if the Australian was "some kind of pedophile or something" LMAO ... Perspective ....

Is it OK to link to the pic from the fic?

Haha, you mean that i put backgrounds in there? That's interesting; i've gotten that comment before, but i'm still not quiiiiiiiite sure what i'm doing differently than other people.

Well, imho you should just let yourself goooooo. It would be pretty spectacular if you've got this nice, subtle, slightly-leading gen fic that suddenly gets down and dirty at the very end. Blow those ff.neters' minds. Ahhh, but that's just my leanings taking over there.

Pffft! That review is hilarious. (Love how someone plucked that out of all the subtleties.) You should say yes. XD He's some kind of pedophile. And then illustrate the differences between some kinds of pedophiles vs. other kinds of pedophiles. And then ask them which kind of pedophile they would prefer him to be. XDD

Of course you can link this pic! You can do whatever in the world you'd like to do with it. Take it, post it, use it for headers/banners/ads/whatever. I don't care.

Loony, I can't remember if I asked you this before, but do you take commissions??? I wanted to have a few scenes drawn from my Joker fanfic Sending A Message and you're the only person who I'd really love to have do it. If you do take commissions, please let me know how much it would cost.

Link to story for your reference if you're interested in doing something for me :)

I know you're just as broke as i am! I'm not gonna charge you! XD What scenes would you like done? I'd be glad to help you out.

I could certainly do those scenes! (And i am very grateful to have the whole thing too, i don't believe i've read this story yet. Not to mention that having the whole context always helps you notice what's going on in the background more accurately.) Hahaaa, i certainly can't deny you the opportunity for some more Joker makeup fun times. And i'm very glad to help! :]

Beautiful!

It would be cool to see some Joker and Batman comic pages like this.

Disclaimer: That is in no way a hint/beg/plead for said comic pages of said Joker. It is, however, a puppy-eyed look in the right direction.

XD

Aaahhh, i know i know. I'm playing with Alex way too much lately. I haven't forgotten Batman, really. It's so strange the differences in why i like fandoms..... Batman i had very little emotional investment in whatsoever, but i loved it for that. Alex Rider just pulls at my heartstrings like crazy. Anyway. This is pretty much exactly how i had imagined doing Batman comics. XD Murky, inky, black lines and all that, just black and white. (I love the Batman Black & White books.) I would love to do that.

Oh yes :D There was an artist called Rhomboideus who did a comic book story of Heath and Jake. You may be familiar with it. It was done in a beautiful way and looked so much like a real comic. I just love that kind of style of artwork and really envy anyone who can do it so beautifully. You rawk XD

I do remember her. She was amazing and fantastic and brilliant with watercolor. I LOVED her style. She did this short, sweet, Batman comic too. I don't know if it was ever intended to go further, but the few pages i saw were gorgeous and very moving. I think i may have seen a few panels, or pages of the Heath story, but not together as a whole. o.o Is she still around? (I've just gone and answered my own question, checking the Chelsea Grin site. I see she and the others are working on a new collaborative project with fandom and pro things combined. That sounds extremely cool. Something everybody dreams of in fandom-world. <3) I've always kinda wanted to say hi to her. (And got the chance very briefly on the knivesandlindt comm once.) But i'm still a bit shy/apprehensive since i'm not sure if she even likes slash (or chan, which i didn't do a whole lot of in Batman until later....but still, i'm sure i can be a bit offputting with it all over my journal). ._.;

The detailing on this is incredible - I can't explain it, but it feels like I can reach out and touch the side of the building, it jumps out from the screen like that (I'd love to touch Alex and Yassen too, but I don't think they'd want me around...)

I'm so glad you did this scene!

(the black luton van is covered in dust and grime - have you ever seen a dirty black car? they don't look black, so you did good)

Woo! That must mean i've got a successful "popping" three point thing going on. XD And the van, yes, uh dust and grime, that's it of course......

(And oh my gosh, i started watching The Baker and IT IS HILARIOUS. And i then i had to go to class, but the moment i'm free again, i'm going to see the rest of it. I really wasn't expecting it to be this spectacularly funnny. o.o I am certainly noticing a trend with Damian Lewis' characters, which i don't mind at all, but i'm wondering if he maybe secretly wants to be an assassin if he could take on another profession.)

(is that what 3 point art does?)

I really wasn't kidding when I say the Baker is the funniest movie I've ever seen. I don't like cracky things too much - but this is right on the edge; it's so perfect in every way. And Damian is so sexy in this one.

I really did think just like you - DL plays so many characters with guns! The Baker, Band Of Brothers, Yassen, Colditz, Warriors, Life are ones I think of right away. But he plays some romantic leads too (Forsythe Saga, Brides) - so he must like to balance between making love AND war!
