I quit Facebook.

I decided to quit Facebook because I didn't like the interactions I was having, and also the intrusion into my life that so many people had.  So, I am no longer on the site and will be doing most of my connecting with people through emails and am reviving the long lost LiveJournal.

I am now living in Medford, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston.  I work at a transitional house for people recovering from severe mental illness and am really enjoying my job.  I like being able to explore a new city again, but do really miss home.  I miss people most of all.  Zach is still in Minneapolis and he is planning to move out here next summer.  After grad school, the plan is to move back to Minneapolis, so worry not, folks, we will return.

I was introduced to a place that has really delicious vegan waffles and am pretty sure I will spend all of my extra monies there from here on out.  I have not been able to find anything like a Hard Times or Seward Cafe, which sucks, but which makes Minneapolis all the more special in my heart.

I will be back in the cities the week leading up to Christmas... the 17th through the 26th I believe, so I would love to spend time with people!  I'm not even sure if anyone looks at this anymore, but if not I'll just call you when it gets closer.

Currently reading The Handmaiden's Tale by Margaret Atwood, which, as a woman, is pretty depressing, but also thought provoking.  Recently finished "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" "The Help" "Reaper Man" "The History of Love" "American Gods" and "Truth".  All very good and I am enjoying my local library very much (and kind of feeling bad that I left behind some fines at the Hennepin Library.... oops :\)

Alright, well, I'm an old woman so this is about the time I go to bed.  Take care everyone.
