Coming up for air
Well, it has been a long time coming, but I finished college! Some of you may have noticed that I didn't say "finished school." The fact is I haven't, and hopefully never will. After 23 wonderful years of life, I earned a Master's in teaching. I get to spend every day either teaching or planning to teach some brilliant little minds. Not every day is perfect, for example, I nearly cried when a whole class was befuddled by the poster on my door. "You teach English, why is there a fraction on that poster (9 3/4)"
Anyway, I have been wholly silent over the last year with little participation in fests or the website I help run. Although my first year of teaching will still be very busy, I do have more free time than before. I am nearly done with a piece for this year's Dramione Remix - one of my very first and all time favourite fests. I'm full of joy every day because of what I get to do for a "job" - so far I feel very blessed to get paid for what I do. My current goal is to get back on here and post like a regular member - at least once every other week or so.
