Disarmed and angry.
I went to the C and under at WFC yesterday. 21 fencers, 3 pools. Mine was 2 Cs, 1 D and 3 other Us. I lost to Tamar Agulian and won the other five and was seeded third with a +10 indicator. So far so good. I had a bye, then fenced Maureen Woodward (D06) from CCFC. I don't even know what CCFC are, and I already hate them. The bout was tough, but the tough ones are usually the ones you enjoy the most. Not the case. The girl was obnoxious, screaming after every touch she thought she got, and I broke my favorite weapon on her. That, apart from being my favorite rainbow blade, was also the only working weapon I had at the moment, so I swore aloud before I could even think about it, and I thought I'd be carded, but I wasn't (I think? I don't actually remember). So my first DE was also my last one - I lost 14-15. Do damn close. I didn't even bother to find out where I placed, probably around 14th. Still pissed off about it, and even more so about not having any working weapons, with NFC only 5 days away...
LATER EDIT: I actually took 9th, so it's not too bad... never underestimate the power of good indicators! :)
