Day 4
Did I vote? And, how did it go?
I did vote today. I left work early to beat the evening crowd and I was able to vote with no waiting. There were some people at work who voted prior to coming in and they had interesting stories to tell. This one lady went voting with her eighteen year old son. He was the first newly registered voter who cast his vote in that district and someone from the media took his name to write about him. She was so excited and proud. Our boss came in 3 hours late because the lines were extremely long in her district. There were some people in the office going over their election party plans. I don't remember people being so excited over a presidential election before but I'm glad that they are.
