(no subject)
I finally got myself a bike on Monday. Went up to the Cookeville Bike Shop and found a nice Paul Fisher for under $300. I didn't get around to riding it until yesterday, when I took my first trip to the Tobacco Store. Everything went ok, except for it being fucking hot outside. My blood is to thick for 85 degrees. So with that mission accomplished, I decided to ride it into work. It was actually not that bad going in, lots of downhill areas to coast. Takes about 10 minutes to get to there from my house it seems. Work was all right. In our free time me and Steve0 played on the bike out back and in the parking lot. I got off of work about 45 minutes early because it looked like a storm was rolling in, and made my way home. It was a struggle making it up the hills, but I'm sure I'll get used to it soon.
After I got home I waited for Forrest to call me up. He finally gave the OK to come on over and play some Smash Brothers, so I went and picked up Jeremy and headed over. Josh, Derric, Jeremy, and myself all partook of the herb beforehand, so we were good to go. I'm getting better it seems, I won most of the games that night. After that we watched Forrest play the new Unreal Tournament, which looks mighty fun. It even has some of the maps from the original that have been reworked a bit, most excellent. Eventually though we all just sorta got bored with watching Forrest play and we headed out.
I finished my Legend of Dragoon game. I crave more rpg.
I was wondering, why doesn't Country music have an underground? I mean, every other genre of music has some sort of underground except for country, it's all the same as it is on CMT. I bet it would get more respect if it had one.
