[There's the sound of rustling feathers, then the shocked cry of a red-tailed hawk.]

W...what the hell is going on?

[ooc: Fun fact! The kanji used to write Ken's last name: 飛鷹, mean 'flying hawk.']

person: hisoka, everwhere! feathers!, person: harry dresden, event: animal, person: lenalee, person: daisya

You can talk to all the animals here. But I'm usually a person.

Welcome to Luceti, kid.

Don't call me kid.

... thanks, I suppose. I guess this is something those... Malnosso have done?

Tell me your name, and I won't have to. I'm Ken.

Yeah.

Kurosaki Hisoka.

How did this happen?

...wow, uptight. Nice to meet you, Kurosaki-san.

Experiment. They seem to fuck with us in any way that they can think of. Some of them are pretty harmless--right when I got here, everything was covered in flowers for a week. Last time around was an illness that killed off half the town, it seems like.

At least you speak proper Japanese.

Flowers...? And an illness? Watari is sick right now. Is that what happened to him?

And what the hell is the point of turning everyone into animals?

I hope I do, I am Japanese.

Maybe. I don't know whoever you're talking about, so it's hard to say.

Probably about the same point as turning everyone into the opposite sex, or kids, or making people fall in love with each other. We don't see any point. They're just doing it to piss us off, it seems like.

We have something in common. Wonderful.

Then we should kill them, plain and simple. Making people fall in love? Gender switching? Pathetic.

Good damn idea, if we can manage to get to them. They never come into town, except to take people away for a more private date.

It seems obvious then that we should set someone out as bait. Wait for them to take it, jump them, problem solved.

Yeah, good luck with that too. You think people don't fight back, you'd be wrong. Doesn't take anything for them to overpower us.

You're obviously doing something wrong, then. Though, if they captured Watari... then again, I've never seen him fight.

There's a way. You just haven't managed to find it. I will.

Doubt it, kid. I'm a professional.

I wish you the best of fucking luck.

So am I.

I won't need it.
