Anyone who is killed here suffers from a death penalty; they will need at least some time to recognize this death penalty before they decide to try anything.

But that is not why I say it is unlikely. Their actions were fueled by a number of factors. They will need to spend time realizing their violence did not give them the payoff they desired.

Indeed. If they pursue violence after realizing the Malnosso cannot bring their brother back when they demand it, then Luceti will have a persistent problem. But considering they have not gone about causing trouble to this extent in the past, there is still room to believe they will go quiet.
