[Clark's in his Superman getup as he settles down to deliver a solemn message to the city. No point explaining to everyone who knows him how Clark Kent knows Wonder Woman.]

For those who knew her... Diana, otherwise known as Wonder Woman, has gone home.

[He doesn't really have anything else to say on the subject, but he keeps his journal open

[John had long since discovered Diana was gone as well. If Clark hadn't delivered the message, he certainly would have. As it is, he's headed out of the house, carrying a box of his possessions (which in Luceti, are quite few) when he spots Supes.]

... hey Clark. Thinking about Diana?

[He glances up and gives John a nod.]

Right on the money. Am I that obvious?

More or less. It's the same for me.

[He sets the box on the corner of the porch, before leaning up against it the railing beside it.]

Well, it's no surprise. It's always so out of nowhere when someone leaves... Bruce was the same, though at least with him we're used to those kind of exits.

[He takes a drink of the coffee, collecting his thoughts.]

It's just another reminder that we're all in the same mess, no matter how powerful we are.

I really wish everyone else would see it that way. Like they say "If we don't hang together, we will surely hang apart".

Aside from the criminally insane, I'd say the people here aren't doing too bad a job so far.

Yeah, that's definitely true. Inside the barrier at least.

There's not much we can do about the people outside. Not yet anyway.

[But now he changes the subject.]

I'm going to go pick out an apartment. This place hasn't been bad for us, but it's no Watchtower. [And really, they're colleagues... not roommates. That said, there seems to be a second part he's got in mind here.]

[Clark blinks in surprise.]

Well I can't say I saw that coming. I know what you mean though. [Clark tries to be friends with everyone in the League, but staying under one roof is a little much.] Something prompt this?

[Well when they all moved in together, there wasn't a teenager and Wally living with them. But that's not the reason.]

There's a chance we'll be here awhile. And the possibility of more of us showing up. I think it's about time we came up with something a little more permanent than just meeting around the kitchen table.

[There's a pause as he holds up his ring.] You know, I actually was planning to be an architect before I was called up by the Guardians.

[The first part of that gets Clark's immediate interest, and he nods his way through it until John mentions his architect aspirations.]

Yeah, I've heard that before, from... well, my version of you. So you're thinking about drawing up plans for a new headquarters?

Maybe we'll all be home next month, but there's no harm in having a Watchtower here.

[Not to mention there's honestly not a lot for him to do around here. John is hardly a social butterfly.]

No harm at all. I'll help out however I can to make it if we can get the tech we're going to need.

[Clark doesn't have the latter problem, but he could use something else to do, and besides, the idea appeals to him. The Watchtower was always an important symbol back home in addition to being their base, and having it here sounds like a great way to keep moral up.]

[Tech is going to be a problem, he knows that. They'll be lucky to be able to reinforce the thing with steel.]

Good. We'll get Wally on it too. [he could use some focus around here.] There's actually two others I planned to talk to. I'm not sure if they're from my universe, yours, or another one. Two Teen Titans - Beast Boy and Cyborg. You know of them?

Beast Boy and Cyborg? I know the ones back on my world, but I haven't met the ones here.

[He briefly wonders if this means people from his universe have actually started coming in. Well, he'll figure that out when he meets them.]

Still, if the ones here are anything like the ones I know, we'll be lucky to have their help. Think we should ask Terry too?
