Why do so many fear the truth?
Why do I have to write the truth in verse before anyone will listen?
Yes the truth hurts, it hurts immediately... all the pain at once.
But after the pain it gives you strength and wholeness.
Lies hurt more, they just trick you... they spread much more pain out in a greater time period.
And give you no strength or healing in the end, only broken weakness.
