i picked my sister up from the airport today for her weekend in seattle. today was the first day of her freshman orientation at UW. i stayed with her in her dorm room for the until her roommate showed up, talking her up, trying to get her as pumped up as possible. when her roommate showed i quickly left, and have been feeling excited/nervous for her ever since. ive never been as close to my sister as i have been to my brother, mostly because of our 6 year age difference. that says absolutely nothing about how much i love her, as shes a cool girl. im pretty excited to see a grown up version kelsey. i feel all brotherly today, its awesome.
i bought the book Timbuktu by Paul Auster today, based soley on the mention of it in a Fionn Regan song. Dork? yes.
Im looking forward to Bumbershoot. Though no one else seems to be going.
