So, in celebration of the fact that I've run 117.5 miles so far in the month of March, and to respect the fact that I wouldn't have made it through my last three runs without a heavy dose of Jay, Kanye, and Eminem, I've decided to unlock last year's
Epic Running Mix post and make the songs public one more time. This will be up for a week, and then gone, so if you see something you like, grab it fast.
I may also do a similar project with all GLEE songs at the end of the month, because I'm obnoxious that way.
In case you'd forgotten just why I've run so many miles (and still have two more runs before I'm done), you can visit my still incredibly barren and uninteresting
CrowdRise page and learn how you can help Planned Parenthood (hint: it involves giving them your money). If pictures of me sitting in cold water are more your speed, try the
#march for planned parenthood tag on tumblr. And if you need some kind of proof that I've actually done all this running and am not, in fact, yanking your chain, here's my
runkeeper profile (fair warning: I've been doing a lot less mapping since I got the fancy new phone with the fancy-dancy GPS. But still, I think it's roughly pretty accurate.)
And other than that, you know, just enjoy the music.
Oh, one thing -- Song 11, "Hard" by Rihanna, has apparently been yanked from mediafire, and the computer that housed the original is currently sitting in pieces in my apartment while I try to find a working power supply for it. I don't actually think the mix suffers too much for that, although it was really, really superb for hills.
Anyway, happy listening!
