Reading this chapter I basically went Charlie!! Jin's Alive!!! What the hell is going on!!!

Great chapter, I feel like I got a lot of information thrown at me that made me more sure of some things but also less sure about others. Like whats up with Ethan? And Charles? and Penny? Ugh, super unsure about things again.

Loved the flashbacks to the island. I love that Charlie, Katie, and maybe Shannon are protecting Ben and changing him so that he becomes a Ben who picks his son over the island int he future.

Loved the part with Kurt and Ben. I love how they are becoming close because they are the two people who love Blaine the most. How they are starting to genuinely care about each other.

And I totally confused again about who is working for who.

Charles and Ben confrontations = awesome. Those were one of my favorite things on Lost and loved this one just as much as those. And this different Ben, who loves his son more then the island, who knows that going after Penny is the wrong thing to do, I think that Charles knows how to deal with him even less then he knew how to deal with canon Ben.

Also, Wes knows whats going on (at least sort of)! What!! And I loved Walt. I felt like someone needs to give him some hugs. It's like he and Blaine are like friends but haven't really meet each other in real life but have this bond of common weirdness.

And Artz! I sort of feel bad for him because his family doesn't love him anymore because he basically ruined their lives. But he did ruin their lives, so that's on him. And he is choosing this whole island undercover covert stuff instead of them but he is so bad at it and has no clue that he is the worst at it.

TBH, the more I write Arzt, the more I feel sorry for Karofsky. Like, "Dude, that's your father? I'm sorry. He's awful." And the thing is, I'm basically writing Canon Arzt. I really haven't changed that much.

Also, I imagine Wes knows a lot more about what's going than people would suspect. He did kind of grow up in Paik Heavy Industries, same as Sun did, and although I'm certain there's a lot less merciless beatings being doled out in the United States, it's still that sort of organization. And I think Wes is very aware of what kind of person Mr. Paik is, and what that might have meant for his daughter, and what that might mean for all of them now.

As far as the Charles/Ethan/Penny thing goes -- basically, it's mostly unchanged from what happened in canon. Sooner or later, someone was going to find out that Charles had a daughter off the Island, and banish him. Ben didn't do it, so it wound up falling to Ethan (once he'd finished his own off-Island studies and come back as a doctor). So Arzt, Juliet, Sun, Michael, and Sayid have all been working for Ethan the entire time.
