The worst part about Sunday is that it means there's a whole week to wait for the next installment. So I decided to put that time to use, and I'm roughly 35 episodes into Lost since this chapter went up. I've never seen it before, but I couldn't not read this story because you produce the best glee fics I've ever read, and it's what you're writing write now. Amazingly, by the way; it's enthralling even for someone who has no clue who these people are and what's going on...you give your universes such depth and texture, I absolutely ache for your characters. So to fully appreciate this deliciously interconnected work, I'm binging on the other half of the source material so I can re-read it with deeper understanding. And it's not a hardship, I've been following only glee for so long that I'm sort of...extra blown away by how good writing can be and how well a "bloated" cast can be handled, if that makes any sense XD I mean I love glee...but loving it kind of makes me hate it half the time, because it can be so good, and has moments of brilliance, so that when it's...not so good, I resent it. And I turn to writing like yours to fill in the blanks and develop the characters' depth and Make It Better. In any case, I'm sorry for rambling...Lost is epic and I can see why it got so many accolades (and my sister is delighted I'm converted), and watching it now that the series is complete means I'm not stuck on any cliffhangers...! Except...y'know...the whole thing ;)

See, but I would (and have) made the same arguments about LOST, that it was uneven, that I often found it frustrating because it would be so good and then it just... wouldn't be. For long stretches of time. So I feel it's a bit unfair to say that LOST is an example of what Glee could be, or that one is better or worse than the other. For all that they're two very, very different shows, they have a lot in common. And one of those things is that they both met with a whole lot of criticism.

But I'm glad you're getting into it anyway. For all that I complained and complained about LOST while it was on, it really was a wonderful show. I still tear up at the first few notes of some of the pieces from the show's score. And overall, it was very well worth the watching, I thought.
