Still Alive

In case anyone was wondering:

A) No, I'm not dead.

B) Yes, I'm still writing (although, since I'm currently 30,000 words into this story and there's no freaking middle in sight, I'm not sure anyone's going to see it any time soon. I think finding the middle of this story is going to be my version of NaNo this year.)

C) Rocky Horror was a success, even if I did break multiple sewing machine needles, elbow my iron (while it was on, while wearing a tank top), drive sixty miles round-trip for two pairs of women's size 12 high heels, and spend far too much money on Shake Weights for a ten-second visual gag. It was worth it. Even if I never want to see another bolt of sequined fabric in my life.

D) There are, in fact, LOST fanvids to the song "Still Alive," but none of them feature Pierre Chang or the Dharma Initiative as a whole, which I find incredibly disappointing.

E) I have watched "The Substitute" (Glee, not LOST), approximately four times in the last week. Actually, it grows on you.

F) Is Glee on this week or next week? I stopped paying attention to the World Series when the Tigers were taken out. (Also, how about that Lions/Broncos game? God, I love being a fan of Team Evil sometimes.)

G) My "vacation" (which I basically spent doing nothing but sewing sequined corsets, so I'm not sure it qualifies as a vacation per se) ends tomorrow. Work. So sad. But at least I won't have to worry about broken sewing machine needles flying at my face.

F) Seriously, sequins. They suck. And trying to get a nice seam on pleather sucks even more.

So that's me. How's everyone else?

blah blah blah, team evil, gratuitous portal reference, inexplicable lions fangirling, capslock of great costuming
