I was stalking your page checking to see if there was anything I'd neglected to read and then I saw this gem! So happy your're continuing the Ben!Verse. This one was especially sweet. I love how expressive your Burt is even when he's not saying anything at all.

There was a fic somewhere that made me ship Finn/carnival food. I think there might be an OT3 in here somewhere.

The one I'm thinking of is by villiageidiot. In an early part he's jonesing for a corn dog, I believe one of the lines was something like "And hell yes, he needs a corn dog in his life, like, right now." Then later there's a scene in the school cafeteria where he's listing his top 10 favorite fair foods and I remember elephant ears being at or near the top of that list.

And the guy running the first corn dog booth is rude to Blaine and Kurt (or about Blaine and Kurt, maybe), so Finn doesn't buy any and then later claims that they were burnt anyway. But he finds a better corn dog stand later on.

Ah! It's That was then, he is now. Knew that was in my memories somewhere.

I continue to love this series, it's just fabulous. The Burt and Ben interaction was lovely and so realistic.

And I bet that dinner party will be fantastic - especially Kurt hyperventilating that his souffle isn't rising perfectly ;)

This is great. I'm loving the Hudmels more and more and this one is lovely. Very believable.
