You'd think I would have oodles of things to say, it being so long since my last update and all, but no. I could talk about exams and such, but that's what everyone is talking about. And it's depressing. So instead I'll rant about music some more.
If I made a "top ten" list of hobbies or things that interest me, music would no doubt be at number 1. That includes listening to it, playing it, and loving it. I would completely recommend to anyone to start playing an instrument if you don't already. It makes the experience of listening to music so much better. You really appreciate what you're listening to a lot more. Also, I recommend that everyone throws a little classical into their mix. Classical is really the diamond of the music world. The amount of work to write one piece is reflected in its quality. So get out there and listen to Handel. Another thing I love is when you find a new band that you absolutely love. Recently, I found Copeland. They have such relaxing and catchy music. I don't know why I didn't look them up earlier, since their song "Brightest" has always been one of my favourite songs of all time. On the opposite side of the music spectrum, the new Alexisonfire disc is thumbs up. Different, but good. It's the kind of CD that's in your head all day after listening to it. This is turning into a long paragraph. I'm really just throwing words down now. P.S. Listen to Cursive.
I'm going to 2 proms. They are consecutive. It will rock. Then I graduate. Ciao, old life.
