Can you drag yourself 200 miles with just your fingernails?

I got home from Ottawa on Monday night, and boy what a trip it was. I basically knew it was going to rock, due to the humour of Matt and Cole, but adding to the excitement was the under-rated Greg "Chicken Wing" King. He was nice enough to let us stay at his place for the duration of our trip. The purpose of the trip was to see Carleton University, my likely destination this fall, as well as the city of Ottawa. Mission accomplished.

This was only my second trip on an airplane, and it started out great. Cole had his new video camera out the second I was approaching the car and he kept it out for a lot of the trip. There is some hilarious material on it, such as Greg and I getting "Punk'd" a couple times and also lots of high fives. I think I did a voice-over of a horse talking at some point as well.

We visited the University on Monday and it was impressive. Everything is right there on campus, and it's all nice. I'm looking forward to going there in the fall, which is likely now that I've gotten all the info / scholarships from all the other universities I applied to, and have made a decision based on it all.

Ottawa is such a nice city, it was a "big city" compared to what I'm used to. Most impressive was how much better their public transportation system is then ours in Halifax. There are so many buses, and you barely have to wait at all. There are several key stops, which you can get to from anywhere. It'll be useful in the future.

Anyways, yesterday had some unexpected twists - I was scheduled to have a crappy night because Matt and I were supposed to work on a project but he found out he had to work. Natalie and Jessie came to the rescue with an offer of candy, bowling, and tackling. Although Natalie got the better part of the tackling. I got Jessie interested in some matchstick puzzles on my computer, and she was quick to get them. I've never seen her so determined to do something. Earlier in the day, Jessie beat Natalie up so she was still in some pain for the remainder of the night. She kept saying "if only you saw the bruise I'll be getting (on my thigh)" and then she got offended for some reason when I tried to look at it. That girl is a puzzle wrapped in a 3D puzzle stored in a locked room.

Today is going to be great. I'm going on a hot date with Natalie to a fancy restaurant and then off to the Musical. I see it every year and it's always great.
