A Bona-fide Update
I thought I should update and give all y'all the downlow on what's going on. I'm moving to Ottawa next week, driving up, leaving Thursday morning. It's weird thinking that I'm actually moving because it means I might never live in this house again (long term anyways). Things are going to be so different in Ottawa. So much more responsibility and freedom. I'll probably use this freedom to do geeky things anyways.
So how's this for customer service. I order a laptop online on August 6th, with the promise of it getting to my house in 7-10 days. Since then, I've gotten an e-mail every week saying it will be a week longer. It's now gotten to the point where I'll be in Ottawa by the time it gets to my house in Nova Scotia. So eventually I was just like, "F that shit, I'm keeping it real" and I cancelled that order and ordered a different one. It should be here very close to when I leave, and if not, then my mom would have to send it all the way to Ottawa, which is ironic because it is being sent here from Ontario.
Oh and lastly, 6 months ago today I started going out with a young lady named Natalie and I'd like to thank her for being the best thing that happened to me this year.
Next update, I'll officially be an Ottawanian.
