my holiday
i'm in Aruba right now and it's been pretty fun. i think i might be a little too tanned because everytime i look in the mirror i get a bit of a george hamilton-esque vibe.. so that's worrysome. i haven't really even been on the beach that much, so i'll account all this sun exposure to my days on the court. that's right. the tennis court. i used to think that virtual tennis was more my bag.. or just watching the us open on tv with my dad, but things appear to be changing. i'm not saying that i'm gonna, like, start going to a gym or doing anything remotely "athletic" in any way (since i feel like that might completely change my personality), but i might just continue this little hobby once i'm off this little island. i'm not even saying i'm "good" or anything at it, but goddam is it fun.
i'm on my last break from school right now, so i'll fully be done in august if i don't fail anything. i haven't found that part time job that i was thinking about maybe wanting to try and find, so i'm coming to terms with my no-income issue. it's fine, though. i'll have to get a real job once school's out, so that's how i'm gonna justify not getting one now.
i just read this over and i thought it was *something* to note that i'm on a goddam vacation in a gorgeous place and yet i'm complaining about having no money. if that's not spoiled, then i don't know what is..
