So, apps are finally in. That's about all there is to say about that.
I really hate to say this, but my family has, this year, officially switched over to an artificial tree. I thought I could count on my dad to hold out, but last night they came home with one ready to be assembled. And as much as I'm economically, and especially environmentally, in favor of the idea, I'm completely, 100% against it.
As much as I hate people, I have to say that there are a select few I really love. I really like knowing all of the intelligent, independent thinking individuals that I do. If I didn't know certain people, I don't know who I'd talk to about all the crap I think about all the time.
And whether it's idiot guys who make everyone believe smart girls don't make good girlfriends, teachers who discourage debating, religions that tell people exactly how they should feel about certain issues, or lemming morons who call anyone that utters the slightest criticism about our government "unpatriotic," it upsets me to no end to know that a lot of our world is designed to keep my good friends from being the way they are.
