Second Search: When a Writer gets Poetic

[Hey guess who’s had a purple prose candy? Is it the guy with a dead wife he’s still not over and a missing daughter.... holy shi- I’m still playing Lemony Snicket aren’t I! Why yes, yes it is Harry Mason. Enjoy the prose....I apologize in advance]

Oh sweet love, I miss you so

There’s no meaning to this day

Without you here, to hold me close,

the sky has turns to grey

And nothing matters but the fact that you have gone away

But if you were to appear in front

Or even by my side

So many tears I then would shed.

To see you so close by.

And let you wipe away the tears, from the many years I cried.

But you are gone and I am not

And yet it makes me weep.

The child I love as much as you

Went missing while I did sleep

And now cruel fate prevents me now from hearing but a peep

Our child is out there

I know that true and this upon my heart.

I’ll find and bring her home again,

Just as you would want

And make her know that she was loved by you,

Even though we are apart

horrid rhyming, oh cheryl, valentines event, event, lost wife
