(no subject)
This should serve as a good warm-up for my upcoming midterm composition (t-minus 15 minutes)...I've been feeling very productive today. Something about the colder weather influences my thought process along the lines of "no more relaxing/summer"-ish reasoning. The energy drink from Alex was an added bonus; she said it was my reward for introducing her to Eric. Jokingly of course, because I should receive something along the lines of a medal for that one. I see both of them separately every day-needless to say, their moods have been on the upswing all week. Eric came into lecture today on a caffeine-induced high-when I asked how his planned night of studying had gone he just laughed. Alex filled me in on the rest during lunch. It's really amusing to hear all the stories from both sides, I think I've said "aww" at least once a day. Eric's a really good guy and gets major kudos for keeping me in the loop.
That's been the majority of the social news in our group. Alexis and Alex are off taking the Calc 2 exam, Kara's at a meeting, and I am about to go strand myself on the ninth floor until I finish a decent amount of work. This weekend is the oasis in my desert of midterms...and my schedule next week is drastically free!! Two of the labs and a discussion down the drain. Sadly I have an exam that our lab was unaware of in two weeks, but still. In another day and a half I will be a bit more comfortable.
Time for some liquid energy.
