I am so broke it is unbelievable. I almost cried today thinking about how I couldn't afford to by an $8.95 book from Borders. Not only that, but no Starbuck's, no film to take pictures, no sushi...no clothes :(
On the bright side, I had the best time on set on Thursday. Wednesday kind of sucked because my group was tossed into the same tent as 300 extras, and so we were treated like dirt! Thursday, though, it was just the regular people and it was a lot of fun. I played 500 (that game where you catch the football for points) with Mario and a bunch of other cast members (like the girl from Zoey 101), and the lame part was that while we played we listened to Mario's CD. Could it have BEEN any more tacky? Also, Hilary totally said "Hi," to me without me smiling first or anything. SO COOL.
I just got done watching "Friends" season 10, and I want that so badly. Just to be a part of something that amazing. Well, for the record I don't think there will ever be a sitcom as successful as "Friends." I mean, even people who don't watch it say stuff like, "How you doin'?" or they knock their fists together. It was just such a long time for a show to be on, and they really perfected the art of the sitcom. I only hope one day I can be fortunate enough to have something like that become a part of my life. It is what I long for most...
It totally feels like I wasn't even home at all. In fact, before I left I started to doubt my strength and I thought that since I had hung around Josh and his family so much that I might miss them. Turns out, though, that I don't at all! I knew I was so over it...and now that I came home and was re-aquainted with them all, and am STILL able to have Josh mean nothing, proves that I am stronger than everyone else in the world thought I was. HAHA.
I am going to start making more friends out here though. I talked to Sarah today and she comes home on Monday and we both decided that we are going to form our own little group. Can't wait! My new year's goals are as follows:
1) By the end of 2006, appear on TV at least ONCE.
2) Have a boyfriend.
3) Be financially stable.
I work on my birthday tomorrow. Nice, huh? Oh well, it's not like there is really anything better to do. Turns out that you have to buy tickets for the street party and that it is filled with alcohol vendors all over the place so it's 21 and up only. THAT SUCKS!!!! But, I am telling my boss either tomorrow or Sunday that I HAVE to ve serving by the end of next week or I am going to quit because I need more money. I found 3 restaurants that are hiring, so I am going to go there on Monday and Tuesday anyway, and then if I get one of the jobs I will quit Sizzler. But, since I already know how everything works at Sizzler I would rather just start serving there, especially since it is like 1.5 miles down the road, as opposed 2 like 10 miles.
Well, I am bored! I am going to find something to do...
