So I did my schedule for next semester. After next semester I only have 3 more classes to finish both of my majors and all of my gen-eds but, like, two are taken care of.
This opens things up a little.
What I want to do is study abroad in Spain in the fall. I'm far enough ahead that I wouldn't even have to take more than 12 credits and could really coast through it and enjoy the experience. Since I'm already paying exhorbitant prices for out-of-state tuition, it wouldn't be more expensive, really. And. There is a slight possibility that I could live for free next year. If I were out of the country for one of these free semesters, I would not feel nearly as much like a freeloader, and it would actually work out beautifully because I wouldn't have to worry about paying rent while I'm gone or finding someone to live in my apartment during that time. I could easily satisfy my philosophy requirement (I would think) that way, and the very act of studying abroad would knock off my other requirement. Not to mention, living in Spain would really improve my Spanish. I could, in fact, become bilingual. Which really might help that finding-a-job-after-school thing out.
For the summer I could get an apartment again, or move in with someone else or something.
So I could have an easy class load my senior year, spend half of it in Spain, finish my psychology and my sociology majors and possible a certificate in global studies.
Now I just have to do it. For the moment, though, I'm totally excited.
