Fran // Games
Last night I played around with the text-to-speech on Franchesca. I had her read my lj entries back to me. It was kind of creepy and fun. I hear Leopard has new voices (Fran still has Tiger which I think has the same voices that were in OS 8 or 9 or something), I should get my hand on that stuff eventually. She read "Aaaahhhhh" as "Ah-H-H-H-H..." and it made me laugh. I'm not sure why.
In other news, I have been working a little bit but not enough, still haven't found a permanent position.
I'm currently playing 4 different video games which is kind of weird for me. Baker and I have been playing Mana Khemia which is a ps2 rpg where you are an alchemy student. It is like harry potter meets full metal alchemist meets everything else. It's fun. The main character is some sort of golem with a cat that turns into a dagger thing, and there is also a girl dying of space cancer, a horny cat girl, a vapid ghost with a teddy bear, a hot guy with a sword, an emo kid with glasses who attacks with playing cards, a 10 year old samurai chick, and a crazy space alien. It's pretty wacky.
I'm also playing Mario Kart Wii, which rocks but is kind of frustrating to unlock everything. The Wi-Fi on it is awesomely fun. And Paper Mario on virtual console, its cool to complete that missing piece of mario rpg history that I've been losing out on.
And for the first time ever I'm playing a final fantasy game (that isn't an mmo). I'm borrowing the remake of FFIII for DS. It's crrrazy. I just started so we'll see how that goes.
