Sharpe goes to India to rescue Harper and they get into all kinds of scrapes before coming out victorious, amidst explosions and glory.

I thought Patrick looked like he'd put on some weight, and they all looked a bit tired. The entire premise that creates the atmosphere for the film struck me as somewhat anachronistically portrayed, but, another Sharpe, so I was willing to put up with it.

I really missed the old company, though, and never really got over the deaths of Hagman and Harris, and Sharpe's stealing the girl from his corporal, but in India all of that is left behind. Still made me want to pull out the Glen 20, though (Lysol or Dettol spray for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere)!

The best part for me was the part where Sharpe's tactics for defending the inner wall and the plan for trapping the attackers was shown.
