Hello everyone! Intro and Question for Debate

So I just got an LJ and the first thing I do is sign up for this community. It's slightly embarrasing how long I've been following this community; now, I have the confidence to post and spark some discussion.

Now - is there a particular pairing you could never see happening and why?

Oooh, interesting question. I think I'd personally have a hard time writing Adams/Wilson, because Adams seems to see Wilson as someone who can't "take a chance"--a Congressional nonentity. Not being noticed in the political verse, where notoriety is key, is kind of the "Congressional equivalent of being a eunuch," as a friend of mine pointed out. It seems, from his choice of friends and his choice of wife, that Adams prefers to hang (and sleep) with people he respects (Abigail, Franklin, Jefferson, etc.) So, yeah. Adams/Wilson, for me, is a bit of a non-starter. You know what, though? It would be awesome to be proven wrong with fic, if anyone wants to take the bait! :)

OHH Do NOT tempt me! XD I believe in pairing everybody with everybody. Some pairings work out better than others granted.

Hmmm... for me, it would probably be Leather Apron or Courier with Chase or Hewes. Bartlett is pretty hard to pair off as well. For the first two, I get this weird "...They're kids!" feeling and the latter three aren't really giving off slashy vibes. (Ok so my OTP is probably Chase/Hewes, just because of that little exchange while the Rutledge/Snuff thing is happening. XD)

No, seriously almost everything else could work in my head -

*Lee/Abby (Oh the glorious flirting and Lee being dommed by Abby!)
*Rutledge/Sherman (Those sexy forearms make Rutledge...oh heck it's Rutledge XD, does he need a reason?)
*Witherspoon/Thomson(This might be the very definition of FLUFF)
*Lee/Franklin (...Lee is my fandom bicycle. *sweatdrop* Though the cute nicknames and them ganging up on Adams to get Lee to propose [bad girl! No pervy thoughts of Lee/Adams] independence)
*McNair/Wilson (Because McNair has an attitude and ( ... )
