Please, don't let this be just summer long.
I don't want it to be senior year and I don't want to leave and if I screw up my face and stamp my feet it will not happen.
I love summer. I'll miss it. I'll miss the simplicity, the lack of need. I don't have to work so hard. I don't have to solve any problems. I can just read and learn at my own pace, without needing to prove my intelligence. I don't have to slow down or speed up or help out. I like having time to go to coffee and take photos and laugh. I miss laughing. I love driving in your car and hearing your voice. Stick shifts make more sense when I'm with you. A lot of things do. I like having time in the summer to be with you. I want our "well...that was sort of a date..." to be replaced by a "real date". But during the school year...
