8 days...8 days...
I'M LEAVING FOR CHILE IN EIGHT DAYS AND I'M STARTING TO FREAK OUT!!!!!!!!
Things that I have done in order to be ready to leave:
-wrote a dozen letters or so asking people for money so i can go
-picked up a pair of shorts from the share box in case i need them
-tried to think in Spanish more
-gotten my passport and student card
-tell my professors i'll be missing two days of class
-freaked out
Things I have left to do in order to be ready to leave:
-figure out what to pack, possibly buy it, then pack it
-actually remember how to speak Spanish
-get the aforementioned student card and passport in the mail
-make a list of people to send postcards to
-get over my fear of drinking the water
-freak out some more
In other news:
+Darrin was out here for four days and it was uber fun and the music department loves him and that's a good thing cause that means that next year will be awesome and it was a super fun weekend/early week and yay
+went back to the hospital for a check up and they said everything's fine
-but i still hurt and i don't think that's normal
-Carla also had a run in with the wonderful doctors of Swedish Covenant (or as we insiders call them, DRSCs...yeah, try to pronounce that...)
+/- Tchaikovsky concert is next week...AAAAHHH
+ Mummy and Aunt Verna are coming out to visit...yay!!!!
+/- My dad got a blog...I think this is hillarious
- I haven't done my theory homework yet
I think that's it for now.
P.S. I finally broke down and washed my dishes. Mostly because there were no juice cups left to make oatmeal in, much less a bowl. It took me a half an hour.
