PERFORMANCE '07: "A BIG DEAL"
hello my friends,
how have we all been? i hope you are all happy with what you're up to and enjoying the summery weather.
yes, it's that time of the year again. Cathay Playhouse is putting on 4 shows in september. it's a comedy/satire this time. i'm sure it will provide food for thought and much laughter.
for those that do not know Cathay Playhouse well, i have been with them for the past two years and we put on contemporary chinese plays annually. we are a not-for-profit organisation and are solely together because of our common passion for drama. with that said, the standard of our performance is always aimed for the highest. besides having glorious fun during rehearsals, we are still serious about what we do.
so come and support us! shows are on from 20-23 september, every night at 7:30pm. we will be performing in Tom Mann Theatre, only 5min walk from central station. tickets are only $15!
it'll be great if you can come and also bring parents/friends along! it's a contemporary chinese play, suitable for audience aged 15+. just a note though, the performance will be in mandarin. so make sure any friends you bring along can understand chinese!
