(no subject)
I got the nape of my neck pierced today. The piercing itself was a piece of cake but the jewelry insertion was ouchie. On the way home I stopped by Walgreens on Alvarado and there was a sloshed homeless dude and his lady friend hanging around outside.
Dude was asking passerby for a cheap prepaid cell phone but I said sorry, nope. I come back out and a pissed off lady was telling him to leave or she'll call the cops. Apparently she lived in the apartments upstairs and he'd been singing or something outside on the street for days 'till way early in the morning. Unchained my bike and hung around for a bit, then went inside and got him a phone. He gave me a very enthusiastic hug (bumped my neck too ow) and a purple umbrella. He took off down the street and I heard him tell the lady that he wouldn't bug her anymore.
I think he said he was from Portland. What a way to travel.
