Went to the Municipal Rose Garden up in San Jose yesterday. We went up last weekend too but by the time we got there the sun was setting and I didn't have too much time for pictures. This time around we got there earlier and I took a bajillion (not really) pictures of roses. Everything is in bloom right now. It looks and smells amazing. I also took my Polaroid with me and got some nice pictures. I still haven't converted it for use with 600 film though. I turn the little dial to darken and I use a 28mm polarizer over the lens. Works out pretty well as long as I'm not in direct sunlight.
Today is the San Juan Bautista ride with the scooter club. It's kinda drizzly/foggy at the moment so I hope people are still willing to go. My helmet lets in a lot of air on the sides that are supposed to cover my ears and riding can be loud. I think it'd be a good idea to figure out some way to cover my ears. To keep them warm and to muffle sounds. If I could I'd just wear my ear flap hat under the helmet but it won't fit. Oh well!
