We've Been Had

So right now I'm really frustrated at music theory for being so confusing, and I'm also rather caffeinated at the moment in preparation for being up all night at the Ben Folds concert. Therefore I'm gonna try to cool off and get my mind off junk by listening to Dark Side of the Moon and posting some random thing. So... um... a random top 10 list is always good.

Top 10 Last Songs on Studio Albums

1. Pink Floyd - "Brain Damage/Eclipse" from Dark Side of the Moon
Might as well be one song.

2. The Moody Blues - "Nights in White Satin" from Days of Future Passed

3. The Who - "Won't Get Fooled Again" from Who's Next
Stereotypical again, but still awesome, so I don't care.

4. The Black Crowes - "Descending" from Amorica
Possibly the most beautiful thing ever recorded in the history of rock piano.

5. Tom Waits - "Anywhere I Lay My Head" from Rain Dogs
Epic stuff. He has one of the most awesome voices of all time.

6. The Allman Brothers Band - "Whipping Post" from The Allman Brothers Band

7. Pearl Jam - "Release" from Ten

8. Led Zeppelin - "When The Levee Breaks" from Led Zeppelin IV
I originally had Stairway as #1, but then I realized that I've been listening to the album backwards, that is to say side 2 and then side 1, and When The Levee Breaks is actually the last song. Weird.

9. The Beatles - "Tomorrow Never Knows" from Revolver

10. Radiohead - "The Tourist" from OK Computer

OK, there you go. The thing about these lists is they change all the time. And it's really more like the first 10 that come to me. I'm leaving.
