TOO HOT FOR SEX
Last week was the "Too Hot for Sex" barcrawl and it was a successful da/nite as always. I was glad to be sported by Lee, Kristi, Kim, and Jefe in the Tshirts. I really wish Cyn had ordered one too to be like us...oh well she looked cute in her blue as well. We met Jamal at the first two bars then went in different directions. So weird that there was a guy who knew no one at the crawl but just came to meet people. He was weird and could only handle like 3 drinks. damn light weight.
Anyways drinking started for me at 3. took it easy till kim and Kristi showed up then we started downing scorpion bowls and were on our way to fun. From there we all went to the tap. that was where we were supposed to eat (oops kristi and i forgot about that). we were too busy talking to people. after that we went to Patty Osheas a new bar. It was neat inside as far at the decor, but was too quiet for how far we were into drinking. I think it would be a good early bar though. We got bored and decided we didnt have patience to wait for the band to start so a group of us left to go to Sissy'ks (where else of dancing). we got there at 8:45 and hit up the dance floor immediatly. I took a lot of pics which I will later have kristi download and send out of us all dancning. We weer so excited when Jamal showed up with friends and danced with us as well. He was quite the bday drunk that nite! :) I had a blast dancing with my usuals and was glad to see Lee on the dance floor as well since she usually doesnt want to join us there. After more beers, and me spilling them on the dance floor, it was time to leave. Jefe drove Cyn, kristi and I back to Quincy. We were such happy drunks. i couldnt stop laughing. everything was funny to us. We were on a mission for food. We first tried the bar near me for pizza. the kitchen just closed. then we tried having me order dominos over the phone. I was way too drunk to handle that task. good thing no one answered because i dont think they would have understood me because I would have been laughing way too much. Jefe found a chinese place that was open till 2 and we took off there (while Cyn slept on the couch). we ordered way too much food, once again thought everything was funny, took pics for heather of the duck sauce, and also called heather and left her a message that she couldnt even understand. When we got back to my place cyn was still at peace sleeping that she didnt even realize we left. from there we all went to bed. the enxt morning cyn and I were not in very good shape....which means we must have had another successful bar crawl! Heather we wish you were there with us. Glad to know you are feeling better now.
This week I didnt do a whole lot. Tuesday I went on a jog and started a pastel drawing of a landscape. I am trying to motivate myself to draw some more and do art on my own time for me. Wed we went dress shopping in Norwood (amy, linda, diane and I). We also did dinner to discuss shower plans.
Thur was boy nite. I had plans with Chris (Eggy). He was going to take me rock climbing in quincy. he called me at 5 and said he was in the middle of a project at work and had to cancel. :( that was disappointing so I didnt want to do nothing so called my grammie and went over there for Macaroni. My mom and aunt karen were there as well so had a nice ladies dinner. Chris called me around 6:30 and told me that he was out of work and could get together now. I said I would finish dinner and could meet up. So he planned on coming to quincy to see my place. We couldnt go rock climning since the sun wouldnt be out for much longer. Instead I shared with him my slides of art work and lots of photos. He enjoyed seeing my art and it was great that we could talk about it since he is a designer himself. At this point we couldnt motivate ourselves to go out anywhere because we were fine just chillin in my apt. So we had ice cream and a drink and watched some of Billy Madison. I didnt have to work the next day so didnt mind staying up later than usual. :P so it was a good nite. He left around 11.
Yesterday I had my foot surgery to remove the "returning wart". Ick. since i knew i would be cooped up all weekend i took the whole day off of work and in the morning went for a hike in the blue hills. My surgery was at 12. mom took me. it took only like 15 min then we went to bertuccis for lunch. I had a hard time sitting still all day (i couldnt feel the pain yet). so mom and I went to a dress shop so i could do some more research for Sue. I found a dress that I loved for Amy, Linda and I!
Later the nite got bad. I realized I forgot all my medicine in quincy and couldnt drive to go get it. Linda told me she would take me to quincy. well we got all the way there and oops i forgot my keys since i didnt drive and alicia wasnt home. damn it. i really needed to get my birth control pills for the weekend so had to go to CVS at this point and pay $30 for a pack. well the good thing is now i have a back up pack that I will leave in walpole for the nites that i decide to crash there. from there linda and i went to sues (in walpole) to see her and help with wedding stuff.
today i just got back from our final dress shopping. we finally figured it out and ended up ordering our dresses from a store all the way in Reading. If you want to see....
