Buried Deep

Nov 10, 2010 10:24

let them fall the leaves that may
let them fall every day
let them litter let them sweep
in the wind of restless sleep

can you breathe buried deep
under an old maple tree
autumn colors the ground red green blue
i only have eyes for you

in my bed your form is sweet
milky white on inky black
waiting on your hands and knees
i press kisses down your back

i travel down and down i go
until i find a rabbit hole
my tongue whispers let me in
your body shivers from the sin

after all is said and done
we lie together and as one
sated happy buried deep
my rabbit curls up to sleep

in my arms safe and soft
you squeeze my hand and we drift off

tibbs, autumn
