Well my parents left a few days ago and overall, it was a really good trip. We saw all kinds of amazing sites, and even though I had seen some of the stuff before it’s so gorgeous that it could never get old.
My parents got along well with Marc’s parents, despite the major age and personality differences (my parents are older and er, “high-spirited,” while Marc’s parents are a bit younger and a lot more laid-back). It was pretty stressful for me though, because my parents pulled all their stunts: my mom couldn’t wait to tell everyone about the tube in her brain, and my dad just blabbered on and on about random bullshit.
Marc joined us about halfway through the trip, and he also got along with my parents and I think they really like him.
Anyway, I’m crazy busy right now between preparing our Australian visa, dealing with Christmas and Marc’s birthday this weekend, adjusting our cat to live at Marc's parents and become an outdoor cat, and work.
On another note, my brother will be here in a week. Woo hoo!
