I am not overweight, far from it, but I am not in shape like I used to be. I was once a fanatic in the gym, evening getting up to 190 pounds. I was all muscle. Did not like it though, I am only 5'6 at best, so I was too bulky. So there I was, about 175 pounds, or so I thought. Funny thing is, I weighed myself, and I am 165. Always a pleasant suprise to realize your 10 lbs less than u thought.
well i am running again, daily, about 1-1 1/2 miles. Texas heat is rough, and I hope by the end of July I can be at my goal of between 140-155. My diet has changed. Healthier by far, and now I am once more incorporating weights into the equation.
Why am I doing this? I am 35 years old. I see many friends, who are bald, fat, and just unhealthy. I will not be one of those people. I want to live as long as I can, and I intend to be healthy.
