I just found something out that's pretty funny.. I was reading my old deadjournal from like 2002 and I realized some crap band I went to see played a show with THE PILLOWS in march this year

mood exhausted
ok well, the day started out after school, me, kim ashley and jamie were supposed to go to the all ages show. so my sister takes me over kims house, and we missed the first bus for the train station, so we had to wait for the next one, so while we were waiting we decide to go into this brand new flea market. and we bought these tinkerbell crowns for 50 cents, and then this like arabian guy kept showing us magic tricks and we were like WE GOTTA CATCH A BUS and he wouldnt leave us alone and then finally he did and we missed the bus cause he wouldnt shut up. and missing the bus caused us to miss the train we were gonna catch.
so then we called a cab and the guys like WE GOTTA GO TO DENISE AVENUE TO PICK SOMEONE ELSE UP so first we go to 3 denise avenue, and we wait there for like 10 minutes and then like the people on the intercome were like ITS 30 DENISE AVENUE and then we went there and no one was there and then we got into a car accident, the guy backed up into this lady's car and the alarm went off and it was so funnnnyy and the lady was yelling at the cab driver and then he just like drove away it was really funny.
and then we finally got to the train station and then we couldnt find jamie, so then we just went on the train and this lady was like I LOVE YOUR CROWNS OH GOD TINKERBELL SMELLS SO GOOD it made so much sense. and then like we had to switch trains and we misssed the train to switch on so we had to wait and this scary girl told us where the sodas were and then this guy was like HEY DID THAT NOSE RING HURT and then i was like uh no and then he was like I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY GIRLFRIEND to me and i was like uhhh no and then he showed us his tattoos for 34354 reasons and then hes like YEAH MY BAND IS RECORDING A CD TONIGHT AND MY BAND WENT ON TOUR WITH THE MISFITS IN JAPAN AND I USED TO HAVE A 6 FOOT TALL BLUE MOHAWK BUT NOW I WORK ON WALL STREET. and we were like wowwww.
ok so then we take the train to garden city, and when we get there its only like us getting off, and its like this big abandoned town, well there was like nothing near the train station and then i realized i forgot the address of the place we were going to. and then we asked this one guy sitting at the bench where the library is and hes like RIGHT THERE and it was friggin closed, it closes at 5:30, who the heck stops reading books at 5:30.
ok well so then we start walking some where and we don't see any people at all or any stores just like a church and a real estate building and bunch of cars so then we just walked on 5th street and like we passed by the houses, none of them have garbage pails......hmm makes you wonder right. so we saw this light so we walked to it and then we went left and we were like yayy we're getting somewhere and still we haven't seen one actually person besides the bench man. and then we passed by this school and we heard music and then i was like ITS A SCHOOL DANCE and it was funny and we kept walking and finally we got somewhere, like this whole place with 3450945405 car shops. so we go in one and we are like WE HAVE NO IDEA WHERE WE ARE GOING WE DONT LIVE IN GARDEN CITY WHERE IS THE SPACE OFFICE, and the guys like uhh this isnt garden city, this is hempsted....so we walked into a another town.
so then we walked back and we like walked passed the school dance again and i threw a rock in the window. and then we walked to like this gas station and we were like do you know where space office is and this guy was trying to look for space office street. and then i tried to get free m&ms but the guys like NO WAY YOU GOTTA PAY. and then this thug guy came in and we were like are you from garden city and the guys like HELLLL NOOO it was really funny and we were like WHERES MCDONALDS and hes like its really far man and we thought he was gonna give us a ride but hes like ITS REALLY FAR TO WALK GOOD LUCK. and then we like tried to go to this other store and this spanish guy was like following us and then talking to someone in spanish about us and then we asked an old lady holding a plant were to go and then we wound up back where we originally were.
so then we walked and walked and walked some more, i should find a map to see how far we walked. so then umm we walked till we saw some people and we were like PEOPLE OH MY GOD!!!!1111 and then we asked them where mcdonalds was and then they told us where dunkin donuts was, which really saved our lives.
so then we go in dunkin donuts and we talked to these guys, me and kim just called them jamie and taylor cause we wanted to steal their school ids to get into the 11th grade dance. and then the guys like blah blah OLD COUNTRY ROAD and then i remembered the address, it was 38 old country road. and then we had a food feast there. and jamie and taylor gave us directions to old country road.
and we walked and walked and walked some more and did not see one person on the way except for some drunk guy, and then we finally arrived there, all together we walked like 3-4 hours, at first in complete circles and then we finally got directions to the place, and we had to walk in the rain and our shoes and my pants got soaked and i hope we get hypothermia. the entire time we were like CHAD'S GONNA GET IT, OH MAN WE'RE REALLY GONNA CLOBBER HIM.
so then we finally got to the show, and it turns out, we missed all ages. and we were like GRRRR and then we used this girls cell phone to call my dad and i kept asking people if they knew who was in all ages so then i can talk to chad. and then finally we found chad and then we told him our story, and he told us to email him our entire story and he will write a song about it and he gave us free cds and guitar picks, and he was really nice to us. and we bought shirts too. and that gosh dang pay phone would not work no matter what. then my dad picked us up and we had to act like we were at the show the entire time and that kims parents took us. what a jam packed night. oh yeah and me and kim renamed garden city...to satan city.
