Up-shirt
Old t-shirts, button-downs, tank tops, something else? If they’re no longer usable as clothing, they can be used for something else.
Stain covers:
- You could try to cover the stain up creatively so you can still wear it, either by using fabric paint, markers, embroidery, patches, appliqué, tie-dye, or you could even try bleach art.
Repurposing:
- You could make some t-shirt yarn, cut the shirt into pieces for a quilt, or use them for pillow or slip covers.
Wall art:
- If it’s a graphic shirt and you want to keep the image, cut it out so you can frame it and hang it up as an image. If it’s a patterned shirt, you could cut pieces out to use as backgrounds for photographs. If it’s a keepsake item but you can’t keep it, you could cut a piece out and frame that as the wall art.
