Director’s Cut
You will need:
- Video camera or smartphone
- Basic video editing software
- A notebook for scripting, storyboarding, notes, and plans
Do:
- Create a script or storyboard for a mini-movie, documentary, or other short pieces.
- Film the piece, making use of related resources to learn about cinematography, direction, editing, and other needed skills as you go.
- Edit the footage into your short piece or a series of clips.
Notes:
- Share your pieces online, or have a little film festival with family and friends.
