Stop, look, listen...

I guess I'd better update you kids on what I've been up to over the past couple of weeks (...aside from playing Football Manager 2006 that is, hehe). Brittany and I have been to the cinema to see Wallace And Gromit In The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit and Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, which were both really good, especially W&G. Last Saturday we met up with Eddie & Andrew in central London for a bit of a pub crawl, which was much fun, and we played drinking games as we went along. :-p It was a proper hardcore drinking session among our casual quiet nights at the pub; surprisingly I didn't have that much of a hangover the next day.

This is the first break I've had all day; I stopped off at home after work and then drove to the Parcelforce depot in Mitcham to pick up a parcel that they'd tried to deliver to Brittany (why they took it all the way to Mitcham when there are places much closer I have no idea!), soon after I got home I had to leave again as I gave my brother a lift into Epsom. On the way there a few cars in front of us slowed down and stopped for seemingly no reason at all, we slowly edged forward and saw the reason for the hold up: a car in front had knocked someone down as they were crossing the street, and it was blocking our side of the road as it had stopped at an angle. It must have happened perhaps less than a minute before as there were a group of people gathering in the road and as I drove past we saw someone pull a blanket over the person who had been knocked down. Pretty shocking stuff. :-/

On a happier note, things between Brittany and I are as great as ever :-D, Arsenal and Reading are both doing well, and I'm seeing Franz Ferdinand, Editors, and The Rakes all at one show at the end of this month, w00t!
