the family was here for the weekend. lots of playing and lots of eating and lots of giggling. we went and saw the house today and went through it with the inspector. Paige and Calvin got to see thier rooms and my sister got to see it before they went back to lincoln. the hard part is, now i have to wait a whole month till when we close to actually step foot in the house again. i took pictures though, so i can be planning wall colors and kitchen counter top colors.
we came home and i tried to revive my old green truck so it can help with the stick hauling after our massive storms last weekend, but it wouldnt even try to start. my diagnosis is a new battery, but i would really prefer if i could wave a wand and have some mechanic boy just put it in, because that is one area my lesbian pride does not mind stepping aside and letting some monkey man take care of for me.
i would like to pass a free message onto the idiot parents of the world (as seen in Target today): if you let your child out the door in snow boots and mesh shorts, one of these items is not weather appropriate.
