So. I have less than a week before I leave for London. I need to pack, but that won't take long.
I really feel like I've done nothing all break, but in a good way. I've relaxed. Granted, I know have to argue with myself to get out of bed at 11am - but my queen size bed with feather bed is sooo comfy. Oh well.

Dani and Jess are both gone. We had many good times - shopping, movies at 1am, breakfast at noon, the usual. It's nice to be able to have friends and family that make breaks enjoyable rather than a strain (like the extended family I had to visit over Christmas proper).

It's odd, but I really haven't lended that much thought to the coming trip. Oh well. I know what I'm doing, I just need to get in gear. I am both excited and somewhat wary of the fact that, knowing me, this will not be "NYU student on vacation in London" - I'm going to London to make British friends, know what it is like to live in London, etc. I know I'll love it. I just have a very strong inclination to live in the moment I currently occupy rather than looking forward or back.

I plan to set up some sort of travel blog so that anyone interested can see where I've gone and what I've done. I'll still update this LJ as well. The travel blog will probably be a little PG compared to what I normally may divulge - it's for the family, too. Alright, I need to go get my really long hair cut. Fare thee well.
