MisShapes - an absolutely thrilling little club in a basement in SoHo London. I drank and danced my ass off for four hours, and only left when the club itself closed down. Any DJ that plays 80s punk, Garbage, M.I.A., and Daft Punk while avoiding any American pop crap has my respect (although "Since You've Been Gone" was played, and "Somebody Told Me" by the Killers is so cliche at this point it's not even funny.)Basically, think of an Indie meets hardcore punk meets Euro-dance establishment. Also, interestingly, I kept seeing people who reminded me, almost exactly, of people I know. Odd.
PS - Had fun when Rick, Andrew and Julian showed up. But they got there after I did, and left before. Pussies.
