SugoiCon
Okay so Sugoi con is over now. It was an interesting con, mostly because I looked around alot and could think nothing more than how poorly run it was. But we're not supposed to talk about that. So I wont. I spent a whole fucking day with Bear... that was a scary yet fun time.
I didn't get to meet up with any of the coolness people that I was supposed to because well... some of them left for sugoi without getting back to me about a when and where to meet. I think I at least saw most of them but I don't know... I wasn't going to scare them by being like, oh its you. I'm too big for that it scares people.
I huggled, and glomped a poor kenshin cosplayer and carried him away. I carried alot of people around this weekend though....
Spent most of saturday in the atrium on my computer with bear. We talked alot and I watched some anime, caught up on the most recent eps of Naruto, so that was cool Watched alot of AMVs and mostly just hung out playing on my computer there. Got the honor of being mistaken for the Great and Mighty Bear several times, but other than that, it was just hanging with all the staffers and talking about backend things that most people don't get to see. Be happy about that by the way.
Speaking of AMVs though. I had to compete on Saturday in Iron Editor: the AMV Wars. yay me, that was the most editing I've done in like 6 months. So throughout the competition in which I tried my best I thought I was going to get completley destroyed. I was packing up and was almost EMO by the time the judges got back.(we were strapped for time that's why I packed up so fast). But it was cool because on a Vote 3-2 I won. That was actually a shock that I got any. I honestly thought my video sucked. But that was cool thing for me. So this coming weekend at Youmacon I get to defend my championship against Vancor.
I'm actually looking forward to it. I think I should do okay in it now that I understand what Iron editor is really all about. Its fun.
Any who.... Tara (Koneko).... you should have gotten back to me... I would have liked to poke... er... meet you. ... Okay, that was the only friend from another con. The rest of them were there and I had met them at other cons anyway, so we had our hugs and meetups and had fun. Overall the con was fabulous.
