I've been watching too many zombie movies lately. Well, just two. But I watched them a lot. The original 1968 version of "Night of the Living Dead" and "The Last Man on Earth".
Its funny because they are all about running away from some sort of unstoppable fear. Boarding yourself up in a house, or something, and just waiting for the best possible outcome, which never happens.
The ironic thing was that I got in this huge argument with my dad, which rarely happens but when it does it gets really ridiculous. But it ended with me throwing my bed in front of my bedroom door in a fit of rage, barricading my son and I inside. Not that my dad was trying to get in or anything but I wanted to get the point to my folks that I really wanted to be fucking alone. It seemed to work, but I'm not going to get into anymore detail about that.
Zombies... I used to be scared as hell about them. Like, a couple of years ago. But now, they just seem like desperate things that are trying to obtain something they will never have again.
God, I love DRONE ZONE... go check it out in iTones. I've been listening to it since Saturday morning. Great stuff.
