Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse...

Well, feeling slightly better than I was, I think I'll be up to things in the next day or so. Unfortunately I've had more news through mail that makes me feel ill again.

The political idiots of government back in my home country are still finding ways to drive me up the wall. Apparently they came across some of the old belongings left by war ( Read more... )

*blinkblink* Those people in the government are very mean. *pouts*

But, I hope that things will go smoothly for you and that you return soon. ^_^ I will miss you.

*sighs8 Yes there are. I think they just like aggravating me, I can't get a moments peace.

Yeah, hopefully after this it will all be over and they'll leave me alone. Plus I can get back some personal belongings I thought were lost.

*smiles* I'll miss you too Mana, by that time though...you might be with Mahaddo, Yuugi and Atemu in Egypt.

*shakes head* I don't know much about politics, but I had thought that the government was, like, supposed to care about its people. Pharaoh-sama cared about his people!

Oh, that's a good thing! *looks hopeful* I really really hope you get them back!

Y-yeah, I might...we'll get to hang out at the anniversary party, though.

*nods* They are supposed to Mana, but not all governments are as caring as Atemu was when he was Pharaoh. A lot of them become corrupt by power. Also, due to the whole war years ago, the government are new, and took over after the fighting stopped, so there is a lot of controversy going on.

*smiles* I hope so too, there are a few things I really would like to remember my family and my childhood by.

*kind look* It's okay, it'll all be fine Mana, we can still talk through LJ, and I'll let you know when I come back. And the anniversary party will be good for us to talk and such if Mahaddo doesn't decide to keep up separated the whole night.

Hmmm, I'm beginning to see... Why can't we all just get along? u_u

*smiles* Would you show those items to me? Imean-I don't wanna be nosy, but I am curious, ehehe. ^^;;;

Yup, we'll still have LJ. We'll have a great time at the anniversary party! I'll ask him not to do that and to be nice to you.

Unfortunately not everyone are willing to get along, people hold grudges, fight, and are too proud to say sorry, and it all ends up in pointless destruction.

*chuckles* Sure, when I come back and have them with me, and I'ds be glad to show them to you...though...I might already have a few things, if you want to look at something just now?

Least we can talk someway, if you get your address in Egypt I'll write as well if like. Still, the party will be good and we can both enjoy it together. You don't have to...I understand why he may be a bit...apprhensive about me, we both know that, heh ^^;;;

"Pointless destruction" is very very bad. Makes me want to do something about it, ya know? I think-I think I wanna use my magick to help people out some day.

*smile brightens* Yeah, sure, I'd love to! *adds quickly* Yes, please. ^_^

Ooh, I'd like letters! I hardly ever get letters! Oh, wait, I've never received a letter... Well, yeah. Hehe. But everyone is supposed to enjoy themselves at the party, so Mahaado really should not worry, since we won't be, like, alone together, just together with our friends.

It is, I've lived through it and it is not something that should happen if it can be helped. *looks fondly* I'm sure you'll be able to help a lot of people with your magic someday Mana, I know you could do anything you wanted.

Well, I'll show you some when I come back. But for the moment...

*rummages through belongings in old boxes*

Well I'll write you when you're over in Egypt, promise. I suppose, just hope he's willing to listen to your reason, and not let his protectiveness get the better of him. *continues rummaging*

*finally pulls out some things*

*takes a dusty leather book* This is an old family photo album, you can look at some of the pictures if you want. *hands overbook to Mana as he continues looking through the belongings*

*nods* Most definitely. *smiles up at him* Thank you, I really hope so.

Oooooh!

Yay! I'll love reading them, I know it! u_u;;; I hope so, too. Maybe Anzu-chan and Mai-chan will be there to help?

*eyes widen as he pulls out the photo album and hands it to her* Wow... *sits down and places it on her lap carefully, begins to open it* Oooh, is this you when you were little?

We can only hope nothing like that happens again. *smiles back* I'm sure you will, you're welcome.

*laughs a little at her enthusiasm*

I hope you do, I'll do my best to improve my penmanship. Well, we'll see, we can just hope it'll work out, and Mahaddo will recognise I'm not going to do anything to harm you.

*looks over her shoulder at the pictures* Yes, that's me with me with some of the local kids from my neighbourhood. The little one behind me is Milko my brother. *points at the photo* You can see my mother in the back there. *points again*

*giggles* It's okay, my hand-writing is not very good, either -- well, it's terrible in Japanese. I'll keep looking at the bright side. ^_^

*looks over the pictures closely* You look so cuuuuuuuuuute!!! *squeals happily* Aw, your brother is very cute, too. *nods* Your mother is beautiful in this picture.

*smiles* Ah doesn't matter, least we get to correspond personally. Best thing to do, and hope it works out.

*blushes profoundly* Heh, I don't think I was that cute Mana. Milko was the adorable one out of the two of us. *traces outline of his mother* Yeah, she was a very loving lady. *sad smile*

*lets Mana continue flicking throught he pages while he pulls out an old box* This was my mothers jewellery box, all her necklaces and earrings are still in it.

*opens box and tune starts playing*

*leans over so Mana can look at it*

*nods enthusiastically* Yupyup!

*smiles sweetly* Aww! Well, I thought so. Amelda-kun, what was Milko-kun like? Was he like you? *watches him a little sadly* I can tell that from the photo how she looked at you both.

*pauses flipping through the album to gaze at the jewellery box* Oh, that's beautiful!

*happily surprised to hear the tune* So pretty...Aw...

*leans close to admire it better*

*grins at her enthusiasm*

*blushes more* Heh, I'm not really anything called cute, plus it wasn't very fun when people mistook me for a girl. *rolls his eyes*

*smiles slightly* Milko was just a really lively little kid. He liked playing with race cars, and action figures. he had so much energy and love for life...he had the biggest smile I've ever known, he was a great little brother.

*sighs* I miss her a lot, she always cared, never stopped...always knew how to make things better. I just hope she's happy now, and that I'll see her again someday.

*nods* It is, she treasured this, one thing she had left from my father.

*listens to music* I think that used to be an old folksong from my country or something, I can't remember it well though. *touches the little dancer whose spinning to the tune*

*opens little drawer, pulling out pretty beaded bracelet* I remember this, she always wore it for good luck, it's still as pretty as when she was alive.

*takes it carefully, slipping it on Mana's wrist* It's nice isn't it?

O_O Eh? People mistook you for a girl?! How silly!

*giggles* Milko sounds wonderful. I kinda wish I had siblings.

I know you do. *nods* I bet that she is happy and that you will see her again. I'm sure that she's proud of the good person you've become. *smiles warmly*

Ah, I see, I see.

Hmm, I really like it. *watches the little dancer and smiles*

Oooh, it's the prettiest good luck charm I've ever seen!

*eyes widen as he slips it on her wrist* It is, it is. *holds her wrist up to the light and smiles at it*
