Hey all - been a while but hey, back again...
Clare and Ste's wedding was great yesterday, they seemed to have a really good day and it was nice to see so many old friends from years gone by, especially murasaki_star, Mr & Mrs otter_girl and Mr & Mrs tiggothy :)
I am still feeling extremely fat after the last few weeks - all the booze and pies hasn't helped any, I am sure. Must get back on to the weight watchers. Tomorrow.
In other news, playing a violin in 3/4 time is hard work* but actually sounds quite good.
Never made it to tanurai's party as we ended up spending Friday night in the New Barrack Tavern until closing time then wandered home for wine and cherry vodka - sorry Tanya, we will come over and see you sometime, we promise! (p.s. don't forget pirate party on the 8th of May to jointly celebrate the birthdays of Mrs LongHairedHippy and Rich)
*Mostly 'cos I've been playing 4/4 time since I started learning!
